Below are all the organizations I participated in off Baltimore City College High School and Spelman College's campuses.

DreamTeam

I helped create and develop a student led homeless drive and prepared and served food to people in the need unders Fallsway Street Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. I distributed clothes and shoes to people in need, and I also picked up donated items at North Bend Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland.

MERIT Health Leadership Academy

I was 1 of 45 students accepted into the three-year longitudinal program for Baltimore City students interested in the health care professions who come from populations underrepresented in medicine. I participated in weekly courses focused on health equity, leadership development, science literacy, research proficiency, and college/career preparedness. I helped recruit upcoming scholars, planned community events, and gave insightful ideas for the upcoming year in MERIT Health Leadership Academy, and I served as a direct link between the Scholars needs and the Scholar Achievement team, and advocated for the Scholar Population. I also created, disseminated and obtained Scholars opinions about the MERIT Programming, gadged the daily engagement of the scholars, and collaborated closely with Event Programmer and Vice President to coordinate engagement activities and events.

NatureCity Forum 2021

I participated as a speaker who addressed the lack of equitable green infrastructure in Baltimore City and the health benefits of nature. I also presented my nonprofit “Play Your Way Initiative”, and I addressed the problem of the lack of equitable green infrastructure in Baltimore City by building a playground in the Druid Heights community located in West Baltimore.
